30 True Things
I'm not usually much for self-help books, but a friend sent a link to this one on Amazon, and I like the table of contents. Maybe one day I'll actually read the book! :DToo Soon Old, Too Late Smart: Thirty True Things You Need to Know Now by Gordon Livingston1. If the map doesn't agree with the ground, the map is wrong.2. I like that list, a lot. I'm really hoping that Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid.is actually true.
Me too! I'm also a big fan of "The perfect is the enemy of the good."
I think all self-help books are just basic common sense, and I'll be damned if I'm going to give someone my money to read what I already know. These titles all seem like someone who writes greeting cards could have wrote them.
You know my brain just kind of skipped that one, but now that I've reread, it's fantastic.Good choice!
